If you are a person who works hard, is always focused on what they want, but fail to materialize your desires, you need a potentiality kit. Over-focusing on what you don’t have, worrying about what will happen if you don’t reach your goals, and putting pressure on yourself to work harder is energy that can be better spent and yield greater, more self-loving results.
Vision – Do you spend time every day thinking about how your vision for the future can go right? Do you have things in place if it does? It’s funny how we spend more time setting up plans for failing to reach our goals than for succeeding. Set up two boxes. Place written notes about ideas that scare you into one, and ideas that fascinate, inspire and excite you in the other. Spend time daydreaming what would happen if the inspiring ideas materialized and what parts of your life you would have to change to allow for it. Take little steps toward each idea, like saving pictures of things you like on a vision board, or sketching what your dream house looks like.
Love – Do you spend time every day thinking about how you can be more loving, share more love with others and bring more love into your life? We spend so much time planning what we will do if we are alone, but do you actually have a “love growth and expansion” plan? What kinds of things would you put in there? It’s fun to think about, isn’t it? While finding a soul-mate or some cool new friends sounds awesome, it’s a pretty big task. Try setting up smaller goals, like, "I want to meet someone new who enjoys one or two of my hobbies, such as dancing or playing golf".
Creation – What will you create this year? We are natural-born creators. Leonardo DaVinci didn’t stop at just one thing. He constantly explored his mind, environment and anything that excited him, no matter the subject. What will come out of your brain? There are things there that no one else can even imagine until you show it to them. To take your ideas seriously, effort a small step of action for each of your creative ideas, such as purchase the ingredients for that new recipe, or make up business cards for that neat investors club you want to create. It will automatically take your ideas to the next level and watch what happens…
Don’t let 2015 pass you by without putting together your very own potentiality kit. Let me know what you will be putting into yours!
